I was reminded via a friend’s Facebook update earlier that today is the third anniversary of the shuttering of the legendary Mississippi Nights, and in honor of the date I’ve posted another short clip of raw footage from the venue’s last night it was open (see a previously posted video clip here). This time take a look into the amp room in the backstage area.

Besides actually housing the power amps for the Mississippi Nights P.A. system along with microphones, stands, cables, and other assorted tools of the trade, the amp room was quite the meeting place for venue employees, crew members, and the occasional guest before, during, and after shows.

The video clip isn’t much, but if you’d ever spent any quality time in that room then this could really bring back some memories.
