I got all excited the other night when Craig Wedren tweeted on-sale info for tickets to the Shudder to Think show at the Bowery Ballroom (New York, NY) scheduled for next Wednesday, and I promptly ordered a pair of tickets online. Turns out that now I won’t be able to use my tickets and have decided to give them away to SwingStomp readers.
To make it interesting, I decided to make it a bit of a contest–well, a drawing, really. The only requirement for entry into the drawing is that you share a little bit of info with me; namely, what was your most enlightening concert experience so far in life, and what made it so special?
Email me your answer, or post your answer as a comment to this blog article, and I’ll have my lovely wife Mia draw a random name from a hat-full of the names of each of you that entered the drawing to determine the winner.
Again, this drawing is for a chance to win two (2) free tickets (a $51.45 value) to the SHUDDER TO THINK / PATTERN IS MOVEMENT / BLAME THE PATIENT show next Wednesday night in New York City. The venue website should point you toward all pertinent show info (e.g. age restrictions, etc.).
The deadline for entries is 4:00 p.m. Central time on 1 September 2009 (Tue), and the winner will be announced here at SwingStomp.com at 8:00 p.m. that same day.
Good luck! Tell your friends, enemies, and frienemies!
